REGISTER HERE for this workshop which gives high school teachers the opportunity to learn both content that is relevant to today’s students as global citizens and pedagogical strategies that incorporate the latest research in helping students work with a manageable set of diverse primary sources. Participants will receive an honorarium for attending and leave with classroom-ready, standards-aligned curricular resources.

During this three-hour workshop, participants will:

Education about and exposure to the world’s religious traditions is critical for students as they move toward becoming global citizens. Focusing on the new C3 Supplement on Teaching about Religion and using Judaism as an example, participants will develop both pedagogic and content knowledge in the following areas: Teaching about Religion in Public Schools; Jewish Identity; Judaism in the Context of Ancient, Medieval, and Modern History.
