ICS and The Zekelman Holocaust Center Present: Teaching History, Identity, and Resiliency (Part 2)
November 19 @ 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm EST
Part 2 of ICS‘ Teaching History, Identity, and Resiliency series with The Zekelman Holocaust Center will explore Jewish American history and diversity to gain a practical toolkit for teaching multifaceted identity and how personal experiences shape worldview. Hear a powerful first-hand perspective from a Next Generation speaker on their family member’s Holocaust experience and the intergenerational impact of genocide.
Each educator will be provided with a meal, SCECH credit based on sessions attended (up to 8 total for both programs), and instructional resources for their classroom.
This is an in-person workshop at The Zekelman Holocaust Center. You can attend both workshops or just one – whichever works best for your schedule! To learn more about the rest of the series (Part 1: November 12th), please click here.
