Jewish History
Overview
By the end of this program, you will understand the basics of Judaism, the origins of antisemitism and how it has evolved over time, the story of America’s largest wave of Jewish immigration, and what Jewish American identity looks like today. Participants will learn new strategies for engaging students with primary source documents, collaborate with fellow educators, and receive ready-to-use lesson plans and standards-driven curriculum.

Program Details
- This program runs for two days and meets for 3 hours per day (for a total of 6 hours) from 9am-12pm
- Participants will receive a $130 stipend and a certificate for 6 participation hours upon completion of this program
Application Process
Applications will be reviewed and participants will be selected on a first-come, first-serve basis. Each Summer Institute will be capped to ensure a productive cohort learning experience.
