ICS has just launched its new online seminar, “Teaching the Arab-Israeli Conflict & Peace Process with Primary Sources.”

Participants can register for free and work through the seminar materials at their own pace. The seminar’s modules correspond to the five lessons in the Arab-Israeli Conflict & Peace Process curriculum. Each module features videos, primary sources, teaching tips, and quizzes.

Participants who complete the entire seminar will receive a certificate of completion for five hours of professional development credit. In the near future, participants will be able to take an à la carte approach by selecting the modules that most closely meet their needs.

In the first week, 108 educators registered for the course and 40 completed it. To a person, their evaluations are positive and 100% would recommend it.

The online course was impressive and informative, I have forwarded and shared a link with several historian/teacher friends and colleagues.

While I knew a lot of the information myself I did not know exactly how to present it to my students. This did a great job of presenting the material in a way that is accessible for my students and easy for me to use in my classroom!
