Teaching the Arab-Israeli Conflict
In collaboration with the Martin-Springer Institute at Northern Arizona University, ICS will offer a professional development opportunity on the Arab-Israeli conflict for local educators. This six-hour workshop gives teachers the opportunity to learn both content that is relevant to today’s students as global citizens and pedagogical strategies that incorporate the latest research in helping students work with a manageable set of diverse primary sources. Participants will receive an honorarium for attending and leave with classroom-ready, standards-aligned curricular resources.
