This workshop provides educators with a comprehensive, culturally responsive framework for teaching about Judaism—a model designed to be adaptable for instruction on any world religion. By framing religion through the interconnected lenses of belief, behavior, and belonging, participants will move beyond surface-level facts to examine the lived experiences and diverse systems of the Jewish faith.
Through interactive, model activities, attendees will explore how to integrate these concepts into their classrooms in ways that foster deep religious awareness and mitigate misinformation. Ultimately, this session aims to equip educators with the tools to cultivate mutual respect and tolerance among students of all backgrounds, preparing them to engage thoughtfully in a pluralistic world.
