Teaching about Judaism: Fall Learning Series with Holocaust Museum LA Part 1

Part 1 of our Jewish Americans Roots and Resilience series with the LA Holocaust Museum, “Teaching About Judaism” will explore the rich history, diversity, and essential knowledge about one of the world’s oldest religions and a key aspect of life for many Jews. Following the NCSS C3 Framework for Teaching About Religion, this session will cover Judaism’s beliefs, behaviors, and experiences of belonging, a replicable structure for teaching about all religions. You’ll gain digital activities to incorporate into your classroom as well as the content to help your students understand the basics of Judaism. Teachers of World History, World Religions, and Human Geography will find the resources on this topic particularly useful.
