We take a scholarly, historical approach in developing our curricula, with a heavy emphasis on primary source documents. Our curriculum is guided by—and in alignment with—state and national standards and frameworks.
Each curriculum includes a comprehensive lesson plan, engaging classroom presentation deck, and interactive classroom activities. Some curricula will also include videos or maps.

This five-lesson curriculum explores the historical roots of the Arab-Israeli conflict and ongoing peace process.

Environmental Challenges and Cooperation

In this lesson, students will examine some of the major environmental challenges in the Middle East and learn the ways that Israelis, Jordanians, and Palestinians are cooperating to meet these challenges.

Religion & Politics
Grade Level: 6-12
Focusing on the intersection of religion and politics in constitutions and foundational documents, this lesson examines the complex and diverse religious landscape of Egypt, Israel, Lebanon, and Iran.

Jewish Americans
Grade Level: 6-12
This lesson examines the bonds that unite Jewish Americans as an ethnic group and the rich diversity that exists within the community.

Teaching About Judaism
Grade Level: 6-12
Utilizing the “3 Bs” framework to teach students about Judaism’s systems of belief, behaviors, and experiences of belonging, this lesson introduces key aspects of Judaism in an accessible and organized way.

Ancient Israel
Grade Level: 6-12
Using archeology, texts, and current research, this lesson explores ancient Israelite society in the context of ancient Mesopotamian and Egyptian civilizations.

History of European Antisemitism
Grade Level: 6-12
Students will understand when antisemitism began, and explore how the four forms of antisemitism have manifested both historically and in today’s time.

Developing Religious Literacy
Grade Level: 6-12
This presentation is for teachers to explore the legal foundations of teaching about religion in schools and provides guidelines for incorporating the study of religion into your classroom.

Jewish Immigration to the U.S.
Grade Level: 6-12
Students will examine primary source documents and critically analyze historical events to understand the story of Jewish immigrants in the late 19th and early 20th centuries.
